Cub Scouts Pack 64 came out to Morningside Elementary School to plant a vegetable garden Saturday morning.

About twenty Cub Scouts, ranging from 1st - 5th graders, dug and planted for the 1st and 2nd graders of Morningside who will use the garden for their science class.

Cub Scout Leader Michael Tabarrok says being a Cub Scout is about serving the community and being courteous, and he believes the scouts learned that from their experience today.

Cub Scout Pack 64 is affiliated with the The First United Methodist Church.
