Crisp County deputies arrest three men on drug charges in three separate traffic stops.
30-year-old Benjamin Holland, Jr. is charged with trafficking cocaine and theft by receiving stolen property. Deputies stopped Holland for speeding on I-75 Thursday afternoon. Holland told the deputy he was driving back from Atlanta where he visited his grandma in the hospital. However, deputies say Holland couldn't remember the hospital or his grandma's name. Two deputies and a K9 dog searched the car and found suspected cocaine, scales, zip lock bags, and a stolen television.
Deputies stopped Adetokunbo Olorunyomi for speeding on I-75 Friday morning and say they found drugs on him, too. The deputy says he smelled marijuana in the car and when he conducted a search, found a gallon bag of smaller zip lock bags filled with drugs. Olorunyomi is charged with possession, manufacturing, selling, and buying marijuana.
Deputies made a third drug arrest a few hours later Friday afternoon on I-75. They say Travonti Shinnie dropped a small bag of marijuana when he was pulled over for speeding. Shinnie is charged with possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
All three are being held at the Crisp County Jail.
