      Crisp County manhunt for Thomas ends in arrest

      Thomas is charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault, felony firearm possession by convicted felon, felony firearm/knife possession during crime/attempt crime, 2 counts of felony terroristic threats, misdemeanor battery and a parole warrant. / Crisp County Sheriff's Office

      Officials with the Crisp County Sheriff's Office say that a two week manhunt for Malcom Jamahrl Thomas has now ended in his arrest.

      They say that he was arrested in the 400 block of 23rd Avenue West in Cordele without incident.

      Thomas is charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault, felony firearm possession by convicted felon, felony firearm/knife possession during crime/attempt crime, two counts of felony terroristic threats, misdemeanor battery and a parole warrant.

      Officials say that the arrest came about as a result of the cooperation of local, state, and federal agencies within and outside of Crisp County.
