According to officials with the Crisp County Sheriff's Office, they were contacted by a Tennessee deputy in reference to two individuals at the plantation house at exit 92 off Interstate 75. The deputy reported the suspect, who was later identified as 20-year-old, Charles Allen and a female juvenile were trying to get money from patrons to buy gas.
When Crisp County deputies arrived, they discovered that the female juvenile was a runaway from New York that had been missing since July 8th, 2013.
Further investigation into the matter revealed that the vehicle they were driving was reported stolen and confirmed the missing person alert according to New York State Police.
Crisp County officials say that the juvenile was turned over to the department of juvenile justice to be returned to New York.
Authorities from the New York State Police say that a warrant was being issued for grand larceny for Charles Allen while Crisp County Sheriff's Office has arrest him for theft.
