Sundays in the city of Moultrie could be really different. No alcohol on Sundays may be a thing of the past. On Tuesday, the city council is expected to vote on final passage of the ordinance calling for a referendum on Sunday alcohol sales. Even though some people oppose the issue, service station worker Brandy Morgan is looking at it from an economic point of view, "there's probably about 20 to 30 people that come in every Sunday, and I work every Sunday so I know, and I have to turn them away and send them to Valdosta." If it's passed, Sunday sales would be limited to 12:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for package sales, and 12:30 p.m. to midnight for sales by the drink.
