Cordele enacts saggy pants ordinance

While Albany mulls over a possible ban on saggy pants. One southwest Georgia city has already beat them to the punch.
They city of Cordele is done with baggy, saggy residents. The city's ban on too low pants went into effect last week.
Now if resident caught wearing pants below a point that exposes four inches or more of skin or underwear then that person could face a $50 fine. Residents have mixed opinions on the new ordinance.
Police officials say they want to give residents a week or so to get familiar with the law before they start issuing citations.
