If you've ever had a computer virus take comfort in knowing that you're not alone.
According to MacAfee, an anti-virus software company, computer viruses are at an all-time high with over 10 million different viruses reported this year.
At Albany Computer they say viruses make up 90 percent of their business.
They say the most common virus pretends to be an anti-virus program on your computer.
"It says you have all of these things on your computer, please enter your credit card. Once you enter your credit card in, it says that one didn't go through please enter another one. Well now they have two of your credit cards they have your personal information and you run the risk of identity theft," said Christy Goodwin of Albany Computer.
Risky online behavior like downloading free music and going to adult sites can leave you more susceptible to getting a virus.
