      Collision sends three to hospital with serious injuries

      Three people have been sent to the hospital after two cars collided shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday.

      Dougherty County Police say Laszlo and Doris Gribacs both passed away after the wreck. The couple were in their 80's.

      UPDATE 06:00PM 03/20/14

      Officials with the Dougherty County Police Department say that one of the three victims has died. The other two victims are in serious condition.

      INITIAL STORY

      Three people have been sent to the hospital after two cars collided shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday.

      Traffic was shut down both ways on Clark Avenue for about an hour while crews cleaned up.

      The driver of a Buick was stopped at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Hill Road and attempted to cross Clark when it collided with a Jeep.

      Captain Tom Jackson with Dougherty County Police urges all drivers to double check traffic when crossing any roads.
