Coffee County man arrested after marijuana plants found
A 64-year-old Coffee County man has been arrested after marijuana plants were spotted on his property.
According to the Coffee County Sheriff's Office, agents with the Governor’s Task Force Drug Suppression Team conducted aerial surveillance in Coffee County on June 15 and discovered the operation at the residence of Daniel Turen Suttles.
A search warrant was obtained and served by Douglas – Coffee Drug Unit and Governor’s Task Force, which yielded 40 plants, packaging materials, seeds, sprayers and other growing operation materials.
Suttles has been charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone and Hydrocodone).
