If you're the first in your family to go to college and you attend ASU, you could start going to college for free.

On Friday, the Coca Cola Foundation presented the school with a check worth $50,000.

The scholarship would be broken down into four ways, and given to four students.

They will each get roughly $3,000 per school year.

To apply, the student must be a US citizen, full time, and maintain a 2.8 GPA.

The applicants must also submit an essay.

Shannon Hennessy with Coca Cola says, "education helps our feature leaders so it's really important that we help provide and foster those dreams and the grant for the first generation scholarship grant will help fulfill those for those students."

The four students will be chosen in the fall.
