The Citizen's Advisory Committee went before the Albany City Commission with an update on the model airplane issue at Hilsman Park.

The CAC decided on why they're calling the "Park Pilot Program." This will allow for planes under two pounds and made of a material that will be quiet in operation.

The planes will also have to remain in the pilots line of sight.

This program was suggested to the CAC by the Academy of Model Aeronautics which is recognized by the FAA as experts on this topic.
