      Church reopens after arson

After months of waiting, a local church finally opens.
Members of the 'Mind of Christ of the Living God Ministries,' in Douglas are celebrating this weekend, as their long-awaited church finally opened it's doors Sunday afternoon.

After arson delayed the opening, church members banded together and waited a little longer for their new building.

Despite that, those closest to the church say all things can be turned into blessings, and they're just thrilled to be using their new facility.

"You know everything happens for a reason, some people may not see it, but a lot of good came out of it. So it's a blessing," said church member, Trovis Powell.

The officials opening ceremony took place on Sunday at the Douglas-based church.
