Folks in Albany were treated to a day at the carnival.

Berachah Fellowship Church held its Annual Tribe Festival Saturday.

There were carnival rides and games for those who came out.

The festival is usually closed off to the public but this year the pastor says he had good reason to allow everyone inside the event.

"Because of the economy and because of the job situation here in Albany, we wanted to do something to open up to the public to make them feel better to lift their spirits and so we just did this," said Pastor Ron Smith.

The carnival started this Thursday and will run through Sunday.
