'Chopped' winner, Chef visits Albany Tech
On Thursday afternoon, Chef Airis Johnson visited Albany Technical College. She visited with some culinary students at the school.
Chef Johnson won Food Network's Chopped last year. In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, they made healthy dishes and named them for local civil rights leaders.
They prepared a dish named for Mary Young Cumming, Emma Wilburn and Rutha Harris, to name a few.
Chef Johnson made other stops in Southwest Georgia to promote an healthy lifestyle.
