Two years of work seems to have paid off for The Parks at Chehaw.
The African Veldt exhibit made its debut on September 1st and has been a success in its first week of operation with many ticket sales.
The half-hour exhibit gives Southwest Georgians a taste of Africa with displays of zebras, ostriches, wildebeests and more.
Chehaw says in order to get the best experience, come during the morning or late afternoon show â" animals seek shade during the hottest times of the day and are harder to spot.
The exhibit is open on weekends only for $5 a ticket and runs through November 26th.
