Changes made to Babies Can't Wait policy
Organizers for the Babies Can't Wait program say now is the time for concern participants and public citizens to have their voices heard.
The program is Georgia's statewide interagency service delivery system for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families
A public hearing was held on Tuesday at the Southwest Health District office concerning the fiscal policies of the plan.
Since there have been changes to the guidelines, organizers say they are required to put the drafts out for public comment.
The comments will then be reviewed and taken into consideration. Officials say there may be some changes to the draft as a result of the comments.
Drafts of the augmented fiscal policy will be on display in health facilities for 60 days.
