Sunday marked the 8th Annual Freedom Festival at Sherwood Christian Academy where people gathered to celebrate our liberty.

People of all ages could enjoy food and activities like rock climbing, bounce houses, live music and more as a way to thank the men and women who made and continue to make our independence possible.

"Our liberties are being protected by servicemen and women all around the globe and we just want to gather today to celebrate that and tell the people forward, hey, we love you and we're supporting you," said actor, Ken Bevel.

The celebration also showcased a speech by Jeff Struecker, a Chaplain in the United States Army who participated in Operation Black Hawk Down and - of course - fireworks.
