Police are working to determine if some items pulled from the Flint River were taken during burglaries.
Albany police called in the Albany Fire Department to follow up on tip they received. Three cash registers were recovered from the water. It's not known where the registers came from or if they are stolen.
The dive team is fairly new and the fire department hopes to continuing working with police.
"We've basically been working on our dive team for about a year, maybe a little over a year," Battalion Chief Keith Ambrose said. "Every one of our members are up to the advanced level and we're about to start our rescue dive program."
If anyone has any additional information about anything related to the items recovered, they should contact Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS.
