A car crashed into a train at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and Washington Street early Saturday morning.
The driver of the car, Gregoria Andrade, and the passenger Anabel Andrade had to be rescued from the wreckage by the Albany Fire Department. Thejaws of life were used to remove the car door so both people could be pulled from the vehicle and transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Both people are hospitalized and in good condition.
Police say no charges will be filed.
