Car crashes into downtown business
Workers at a downtown business were surprised this afternoon by an SUV coming through the front window.
The woman driving was trying to park her car outside of Anchor Loans at North Jackson Street and West Broad Avenue.
The vehicle missed one employee any injured another. The driver and employee were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver says she expects to be okay.
"She said physically she didn't believe she was hurt but emotionally and mentally, very upset," Anchor Loans Supervisor Russ Alexander said. "It a pretty big mess but I'm glad no one was seriously injured."
The business hopes to me back up and running within the next few days.
