For the month of May, Bush Animal Clinic has sponsored Megan's House, an organization that's a respite home for children ages up to age 17 who have developmental disabilities or are medically fragile.
Because of Bush Animal Clinic's desire to help others, they donated a check worth $1,000 Thursday morning.
Officials with Megan's House say the check helps provide respite care services to families, because the cost to operate Megan's House is about $100 per day per family. Donations such as these help offset the cost for families who might not be able to pay that amount for care.
