Bullets fly on South Harding Street

Albany police say they have arrested two brothers, 17-year-old Rakeill Devonta Thomas and 17-year-old Raquail Donta Thomas, for the shootings.

Police add that they facing four counts of aggravated assault each.

Initial Story (10/24/13)
Albany police are investigating after three people walking in the 1000 block of South Harding Street were fired upon just after midnight.

Police say that 18-year-old William Lawrence, 18-year-old Robert Dawson III, and 18-year-old Donnell Taylor reported that while they were walking, they observed a dark colored vehicle drive past and circle the block. When the vehicle turned around, someone inside began shooting at them.

Despite running, Taylor and Dawson were struck.

EMS responded to the scene treated the victims and transported them to the hospital for further treatment.

One of the bullets flew into the bedroom of 59-year-old Patricia Roberts while she slept. She was not injured by the shot.
