Believe it or not, a family-fun event involving numerous law enforcement agencies was organized by a teenager. Boy Scout Taylor Richter planned the entire event all by himself. He says in order to become earn the title of an Eagle Scout, you have to first plan a service project all by yourself. Richter says he picked this idea because he wanted small children to know the people who keeps their lives safe. He says, "to everybody that's here and everybody decided to come out, we had a lot of good support from the community and it's just amazing."
Some of the people on hand were Lee County Sheriff's Office, Albany Police Department, Albany Fire Department, MADD, and the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.
