Downtown Manager Aaron Blair spoke to the Artesian City Sertoma Club Thursday afternoon to update the young businessmen on his plans for the upcoming season.
Blair has some big events planned in the next six months that he hopes to announce soon.
"The next six months is going to probably be some larger projects coming out of the ground. That's what we've been working on, we've been doing a lot of ground work for about two years for some of the things that are getting ready to come out of the ground," said Blair.
The recent addition of information kiosks to guide visitors is only one of the recent changes added to entice more business downtown. Blair says the new Deck of Arts monthly show has been a growing event and it's important to update the town on our successes.
Often our town's professionals are disconnected from what is going on because of their schedules and Blair says he wants to keep the communication up so the city is up to date on their surroundings.
This is Blair's second time speaking to the club, which focuses on fundraising efforts for local groups such as the Lily Pad and the Boys and Girls clubs.
