Lee County Board of Education members held an afternoon meeting today to hash out 'bid' details on the new Lee County Middle School.

The project consisted of building a new sports park, a water well, and of course the site itself. And although these are major projects, officials say they've kept the price fairly low.

"$642,000 dollars approximately for all three. The site work, the actual field construction which included irrigation as well as grassing, and of course the well for irrigation," said Superintendent of Lee County Schools, Dr. Lawrence Walters.

The board accepted that final bid and split the cost between three separate contractors.
