Bennett's burglar after flea guard and worm medicine

Bennett's Feed and Seed lost around $2,500 in an overnight burglary that happened early Wednesday morning.
A man smashed the $500 front window and entered the store on North Washington around 4:16 a.m.
The man took 35 - 40 packets of Frontline flea guard valued at $45 a pack and an undetermined amount of deworming medication.
Albany Police Department responded to the alarm but the suspect, a black male last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, was gone.
Employees say it isn't the first time this has happened but they believe it was a "smash and grab" from a previous customer who knew the medications were right inside the door.
"They basically just smashed the window and reached in and grabbed Frontline flea products and possibly some wormers for dogs," said Bennett's general manager John Albritton.
They also believe the person stole the items strictly for pet use and did not have an ulterior motive because there were plenty of more expensive items in the cabinet.
Surveillance footage did not give a clear shot of the man but employees are still hoping he is caught.
