The Ben Hill County Board of Commissioners met on Monday evening to discuss some important item's on Tuesday's regular meeting agenda.

The board will review a possible contract with Ben Hill Public Schools and the Ben Hill County Sheriff's Office to install cameras on school buses to catch offenders who don't stop when children are being picked up and let off.

"Basically it would have video coverage of people that were passing school buses when they're supposed to stop and obviously they would find themselves with a ticket and going to court," said Ben Hill County Manager Frank Feild.

The board will also receive an update on the new election office, which will be moved downtown after tomorrow's election but before January 1st to allow for more privacy when voting.
