      BB&T Bank in Valdosta held up

      After responding to the to a robbery hold-up alarm and talking with bank employees, they learned that an African-American male entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to one of the clerks. / Provided by Valdosta Police Department

      Valdosta police need your help finding a suspect after the North Ashley Street BB&T Bank was robbed Friday morning.

      Police say that the robbery happened just before 10:00 a.m. Friday.

      After responding to a robbery hold-up alarm and talking with bank employees, they learned that an African-American male entered the bank and passed a note demanding money to one of the clerks.

      The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money and he fled the bank on foot.

      No injuries were reported as a result of the crime.
