Bank of America donates $5,000 to YBH Project

Campers at the YBH Project engage in an aerobics class.

The Youth Becoming Healthy Project received a five thousand dollar donation from Bank of America Monday.

The money along with generous donations from other sponsors will go toward funding for the project's six week summer program. The program is free for kids ages 8 to 16 years-old that are overweight or obese, have at least one chronic illness and are referred by their pediatrician.

"They get to do fun physical activity not just walking and running. They get to take hip hop dance, martial arts, they have aerobics classes, they also focus on the academics during summer," said CEO and Founder of the YBH Project Pamela Green Jackson.

The camp hosted around twenty campers.
