Private Clinic Albany celebrated "Recovery Month" a bit differently Friday, releasing 11-balloons into the good life city sky.

The balloons represented the other 11-months of the year, signifying that addiction and recovery should be spotlighted year round, not just in September.

Officials want to remind the community that addiction deeply impacts everyone and to prevent further damage to our community we need to focus on prevention, treatment, and recovery throughout the year.
