The autopsy is complete of a deceased body found in Cordele Thursday afternoon, according to detectives with Cordele police.
Autopsy results show there was no foul play. The identification of the body is still being determined and will be released soon.
A deceased body was found June 5 in an unoccupied residence in Cordele in the 300 block of West 15th Avenue. This has led to an investigation by the Cordele Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
CPD adds that the body had been decomposing and appeared to be there for awhile. CPD officials add that they were told by the realty company that it has been five years since someone officially lived in the house.
