ATC signs student pathway agreement with VSU

Albany Technical College officially signed two Pathways Program agreements with Valdosta State University on Tuesday that will allow students to smoothly transition between the two institutions to obtain a bachelor TMs degree.

Students who graduate from ATC with an Associate of Applied Science in 22 different programs can now move on to VSU to get a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a major in Technical Studies or a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership.

Both VSU programs are available online which officials say will still be able to help those who are working full-time jobs.

VSU officials say the move clears a path for students to earn a bachelor TMs degree as soon as they complete their associate TMs degree.

ATC president Dr. Anthony Parker adds that it TMs an excellent opportunity for the college that will provide a huge impact on the economy in Southwest Georgia with more students able to obtain a bachelor TMs degree.
