The winners of the Tifton American Idol contest were in Atlanta for the next round of auditions today.

La'Chelsea King says there were at least a thousand people there when she arrived.

She belted out Etta James' hit song 'At Last' in front of American Idol producers.

King says although she didn't get the golden ticket to go into the next round, the experience was a dream come true.

"Not a lot of people get a chance to say that they actually went to an American Idol, X-Factor or The Voice or any other reality TV show to where they were able to show their God given gift. So it was great," said La'Chelsea King.

She says the support from Tifton and her family is making her consider trying out again next year.

Tifton American Idol winner Marcus Holloway also auditioned in Atlanta. FOX 31 has not received word of how the Moultrie singer performed during his audition.
