ASU Homecoming a safe success
Albany State University's Homecoming consisted of a parade, football game and a carnival -- organizers say all three were a success.
ASU Police prepared for a large turnout but said it was even larger than they expected and it all ran smoothly.
"We had an increase in population, crowd population. It turned out well, we didn't have any major incidents. We had probably over 20,000 people that attended the festival yesterday," said ASU Police Chief John Fields.
Chief Fields says they're hoping for an even bigger turnout next year and thanks all of the alumni who made 2012 a success.
