According to officials with the Dougherty County Police Department, an arrest has been made in connection to a hit and run on May 17th.
Officers were dispatched around 11 p.m. that night to a hit and run of a pedestrian and when they arrived the vehicle that hit the victim had fled the scene.
Officials say they issued warrants Tuesday for Dwayne Hogan and he turned himself in Wednesday morning. Hogan is charged with hit and run and failure to report an accident.
The victim is in the SICU at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and officials say they are expected to survive.
