Arrest made in Ashley Boggs homicide
Friday evening, Albany Police Department detectives charged 25-year old Tevin Hill in the shooting death of 28-year-old Ashley Boggs.
Police say Hill was picked up from his home in Albany around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
APD was called to the 2000 block of Champagne Lane on August 3 after gunshots were heard.
Police say that Boggs was found slumped over the steering wheel in a parked car at Shoreham Apartments and later died at the hospital.
Hill has been charged with murder and possession of firearm during the commission of a crime.
Hill is being transported to the Dougherty County Jail.
Albany police say that there have been eight cases consisting of 12 murder victims so far this year.
