Armed suspect sprints for Dougherty County line
Several law enforcement agencies are reporting that the Citgo on US-82 was robbed this evening by an armed gunman, who is now headed for Dougherty county.
Officials say the suspect took off running down US-82 after the robbery, heading towards Dougherty County.
At this time he is described as a black-male, 5'5" in height, wearing a light blue sweatshirt, red ski cap, carrying a bag and armed with a pistol.
Chief Lewis Harris says the Georgia Department of Corrections used their K-9 to help track the suspect, however as of 11:05 p.m. he hasn't been found.
