      Argument leads to injury

      Officials with the Albany Police Department say Tina Riggins has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Knife for swinging the weapon at Timothy Jones during an argument Tuesday evening

      Officials with the Albany Police Department say Tina Riggins has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Knife for swinging the weapon at Timothy Jones during an argument Tuesday evening.

      ORIGINAL STORY:

      The Albany Police Department responded to 1115 Crawford Drive, Apt. A. around 11 PM Tuesday, in response to an aggravated assault.

      The suspect, a 55-year-old female, tried to stab 32-year-old Timothy C. Jones after an argument.

      Jones received a small scratch across his chest area after the suspect swung a knife. He was able to move out of the path of the blade.

      EMS was called and the victim did not require any medical treatment.

      The suspect was arrested and taken to the LEC.

      The relationship of the two involved is unknown and this case remains active.
