      Are you guilty of driving in the left lane?

      The Lee County Sheriff's Office wants to remind the community that there is such a law in Georgia that prohibits drivers from staying in the left-hand lane for too long after passing a car. The violation is called impeding the flow of traffic and Lee County deputies are pulling drivers over for doing just that.

      FOX 31 went on a ride-along with Major Keith Houston who said vehicles staying in the left lane just to stay there (not to pass another vehicle) can cause traffic to build up and cause road rage. This road rage can then lead to accidents.

      Houston stopped a car for impeding the flow of traffic and the driver admitted she stays in the left lane a lot and probably for no good reason.
