The Albany Advocacy Resource Center spends most of its hours attempting to integrate those with disabilities and those without into the leadership community.
On Monday, the group held their graduation ceremony for the class of 2013, with Albany Police Chief John Proctor acting as keynote speaker for the evening.
But event coordinator Lou Lee says the night is all about the students, and the things they've achieved throughout their time in the course.
"It signifies that they've learned how our local government, Chehaw, museums function in our community," said Lee.
Lee says as always the community has shown how much they care about these students, and hopes they continue these successful years into the future.
