      APD searching for second hit-and-run driver

      The Albany Police Department is looking for the driver of a hit and run that sent a man to the hospital with minor injuries.

      Officials say shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a woman driving a white GMC Yukon ran a red light, hitting the passenger side of another car that was driving east on Dawson Road then fled the scene on 12th Avenue.

      The woman is described as having light brown skin and was wearing a tank top and her hair in a ponytail at the time of the accident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Department or leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or 8477.
