Albany police say they now have one person in custody and are searching for three more in connection to two previously unsolved homicides.

Police say that 40-year-old Donta Bernard Brown has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery in connection to the Jessica Bryant case, but that other warrants are forthcoming.

39-year-old Ronell Lee Tidwell, 34-year-old Dewayne Lemontrail Anderson, and 34-year-old Zackteria Ushone White are being charged with murder, aggravated assault and armed robbery in Bryant's case and murder, aggravated assault and kidnapping in Jimmie Jackson's case.

Detectives say they will be seeking assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service to help catch them.

While taking media questions, detectives added that the murders of Bryant and Jimmie Jackson are related, but did not elaborate on that or the motive.

Additionally, detectives say that years ago, people would not talk to them due to the seriousness of the cases. As a result of some people leaving the state, people then became willing to talk.
