Albany police have arrest two men in connection with entering auto cases along North Westover Boulevard and Dawson Road.
Police have arrested 41-year-old Willie Slaughter and 45-year-old Michael Campbell for the June 4 entering auto at Tony's Gym where a purse was stolen and its contents used at Rite-Aid and Walgreens.
Campbell and Slaughter both face one charge of entering auto and Slaughter faces three counts of financial transaction fraud.
A second case where both men were connected was a June 7 case of a stolen 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. Campbell shared information that the vehicle had been stolen from the east side of town at Club Legend and was found in the 900 block of Cherry Avenue. Both Campbell and Slaughter face a charge of entering auto but Slaughter faces a charge of theft by taking motor.
Slaughter was connected to multiple other cases including two entering auto cases at the Albany Mall, another case at Tony's Gym, the 500 block of North Westover, the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
