In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know if allergy season is in full swing.
The answer to that question is a resounding yes, with experts saying this season is even earlier than usual.
"It started off a bit earlier this year, when we first noticed the pollen. We usually see trees pollinating this time of year and that's why we see an increase in allergy symptoms," said allergist, Dr. Erin Cannington.
And that means those that suffer from allergies need to start medicating as soon as possible.
"If they know this is one of their major season than we recommend they start using their daily preventative medications. We also want to stress that it's important for asthma patients who have allergen sensitivity to make sure they're using their daily asthma controlling medications as well," said Dr. Cannington.
