Albany's finest awarded for service
Albany's finest were awarded Wednesday night for going above and beyond the call of duty.
Dougherty County's District Attorney's Office hosted the Law Enforcement Awards at Merry Acres.
Major Bill Berry with the Albany Dougherty Drug Unit took the award for Law Enforcement Executive of the Year.
Corporal John Segroves won for the Albany Police Uniform Officer of the Year and Bryant Leverett took the title of APD Investigator of the Year.
"I'm grateful and thankful for a great team of coworkers at the Albany Police Department and also great partners with the Dougherty County District Attorney's Office without their partnerships and their assistance this could not be possible," said Investigator Bryant Leverett.
Chad Kirkpatrick and Reggie French took home awards for Dougherty County Police Officer and Investigator of the Year.
