Instructors at Albany Technical College are giving students a taste of the real world.

On Wednesday, second semester students pursuing degrees in the construction field received hands on experience building two Habitat for Humanity homes in Albany.

Officials with Albany Tech say "this not only is a great learning tool, it's also a meaningful way to give back to the community and learn the importance of community service."

The homes are scheduled to be completed in July.
