Albany Technical College had more than 600 people turn out for their 14th annual spring career fair Thursday.
More than 50 local and southwest Georgia based employers participated in the fair.
Organizers say the career fair was a great opportunity for students to speak with potential employers and learn about various companies and career opportunities.
Employers were accepting resumes, offered information about job opportunities and conducted on site interviews for internships, part-time jobs, and full-time positions.
Albany Tech Career Service Director Judy Jimmerson says "this opportunity encourages students to continue there jobs search at these events. We actually have students that are hired on the spot. Employers are very confident in the abilities of our students and what it is they have to offer there organization."
The Career Services departments says now they're focusing on preparing for their fall career fair.
