Albany Tech Health Care Division held their spring semester Capping and Pinning ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
The tradition has been going on for over 20 years and celebrates two milestones for the students; the "capping" portion is for students that have reached the halfway point in their program and "pinning" portion is to honor those students preparing to graduate.
"We do this every semester to recognize and show the accomplishments of our students, it gives our families and friends a chance to come out and celebrate with them," said the Dean of Academic Affairs, Mattie Buchannon.
Wednesday's guest speaker was Dr. Ken Miller who reminded the graduating students to never stop learning and to continue growing as professionals.
