Two south Georgia technical colleges named their GOAL award winners on Thursday.

Albany Technical College named Medical Assisting student Kristen Lord their winner while Culinary Arts student Jenilee Johnson was selected for Georgia Southern Technical College.

"I'm so thankful for the support and encouragement from my family, friends, and instructors," said Johnson. "I understand that with this great honor comes great responsibility, as well as great opportunity."
