Albany social club to host New Year's Eve masquerade ball
ALBANY, Ga. —
If you need somewhere to go for a New Year’s Eve celebration, a local social club has an event for you.
The Good Life Social Club is hosting their annual Masquerade Ball at Merry Acres Sunday night.
They had more than 250 people attend last year, and expect to beat that number this year.
The $100 couple ticket gets you and a guest live music, an open bar, and more.
“Part of the reason the Good Life Social Club is here was people kept saying there was nothing to do in Albany," Jonathan Sizemore, Good Life Social Club President, said. "Our initial goal was to kind of bring people together, and give them something to do in Albany. Well, here it is folks. It’s here.”
The money raised from the masquerade will go to the Lily Pad Sane Center in Albany.
You can visit their website, albanymasquerade.com, to purchase a couple’s ticket for $100, or buy tickets at the door for $60 per person.
Doors open at 9 p.m.
